Our raw duck formula is 85% fresh raw duck and bone, with low carbohydrate vegetables such as broccoli and carrots, and nutritional superfoods such as salmon oil and spirulina. Duck is nutritionally loaded with B-vitamins like niacin and pyridoxine, immune system boosters like zinc and selenium and Omega 3 fatty acids which promote a healthy coat and skin for your dog. While duck meat itself has a wide-ranging array of benefits including high-quality protein and naturally low-fat content, feeding your dog a raw food diet also provides an array of physical and mental health benefits which are unique to raw feeding.
Hypoallergenic Qualities
Duck is often considered a novel protein for dog foods, meaning that is a relatively new protein source and therefore few intolerances towards duck have developed in canines. It is because of this that we can consider our raw duck-based dog foods as ‘hypoallergenic’. If your dog suffers from allergies or intolerances towards traditional protein sources such as chicken and beef, or if they suffer from a sensitive stomach, we suggest trying our duck formula. Symptoms of allergies or intolerances can include unpleasant digestive issues, poor skin and coat health and lack of energy or vitality. As always, if you are concerned about any symptoms your dog is experiencing, consult your vet.
Cooking processes and preservatives can damage the nutritional profile of dog food products. As our duck dog food is served and consumed raw, the nutrients are naturally preserved, meaning your dog can enjoy great flavour, texture and nutrition in one meal.
Our duck recipe is available 500g trays and 1.4kg chubbs.
