Puppy & Kitten Microchipping Service (Mobile Appointments)

Microchipping is now a legal requirement for both puppies and kittens, and must be done by the time they are 8 weeks old. We offer a fully mobile microchipping service, visiting you at home to save the stress and hassle of transporting young animals. This makes the process much calmer and more convenient for both you and your litter.

When to microchip:
Puppies and kittens must be microchipped between 6-8 weeks of age, but wherever possible, we prefer to chip them closer to 8 weeks. This allows them to be a little bigger and more robust before leaving for their new homes.

Breeder registration & transfers:
All microchips are initially registered to the breeder, as required by law. Once the new owners have taken their puppies or kittens home, breeders can easily transfer keepership to the new owners using the unique transfer code provided. We register all microchips with Petlog, one of the UK’s leading microchip databases run by The Kennel Club, ensuring your animals are properly protected for life.

Pricing:

• £15 per microchip

• Litters of 4 or more receive a 20% discount (£12 per microchip)

• Payment is taken at the time of the appointment.
