Proflax Healthy Heart
It is critical to keep your dogs heart in a healthy condition. A balanced diet and adequate amount of exercise are advised. If you have a breed prone to heart problems, periodic check ups are advised. It is also worthwhile eliminating heartworm disease if your dog is displaying any heart related symptoms.
Proflax Healthy Heart is a premium 100% natural superfood supplement that contains 75% cold pressed flaxseed oil and a 25% blend of 7 concentrated active herbal tinctures; Hawthorn, Motherwort, Linden, Ginkgo, Astragalus, Yarrow and Liquorice. This blend will specifically support a healthy blood flow & blood pressure, support the arteries and aid respiration. It is a fabulous anti-oxidant.
The inclusion of flaxseed oil in this formula is of utmost importance as omega-3 & 6 essential fatty acids are a necessary component of a dogs diet, but those in need of extra support of the heart will benefit hugely. Flaxseed oil contains a high level - 60% - of omega-3, which helps to support a healthy heart structure and function. It will also help to maintain good health of the reproductive system and support mobility & metabolism. The active herbal ingredients provide nutritional support.
Healthy Heart contains 4 adaptogenic herbs that help to support physical and emotional wellbeing. The herbs in this formula have been selected by a holistic vet for maximum health benefits, which can be shown in as little as 5-7 days in some dogs.

Hawthorn: An adaptogenic herb that is a cardiotonic; supports the heart and cardiovascular system. A powerful bioflavonoid and antioxidant. Aids the transport of nutrients and oxygen throughout the body. Provides essential nutrients and enzymes.

Motherwort: A fantastic cardiotonic, sedative and anti-spasmodic. Calming. Supports a healthy blood pressure. High in anti-oxidants.

Linden (Tilia): Tiliroside, an antioxidant found in Linden plays an essential role in heart health. Aids relaxation.

Ginkgo: An adaptogenic herb that is calming and helps to maintain good energy. Supports a healthy nervous system, circulation & respiration. A natural flavanoid and antioxidant. A fantastic source of vitamin A, C, B-6, iron and magnesium.

Shake well and feed 1ml to every 2kg of dogs weight with regular food once daily. (10kg dog would be 5ml).
If you would like to feed Healthy Heart with another of our oil based products, we suggest alternating daily. However, this will depend on the level of support that your dog needs. This product can be used on the same day as Tummy Tastic powder pre/probiotic and Keep off Me! tincture, but must be fed at different times of the day, in different meals.
Store in the fridge once opened and in a cool, dark place prior to opening. Every bottle lasts 8-12 weeks when stored in the fridge after opening so please ensure that you purchase the correct sized bottle for your dogs weight. Batch and expiry date are shown on every bottle and shelf life is a total of 18 months.
Proflax products can safely be used long term, however, we would suggest that if you are feeding only one product only on a daily basis that you feed for no longer than 90 days and then take 7 day break. This short break allows the body to have a rest period from the same supplement, allowing your dog to get the very best from the supplement. However, if you are feeding more than one Proflax product in rotation, a break period is not considered as necessary.
