Your dog's liver has a lot to cope with. It has to cleanse toxins from a chemical, mineral or ingestible source. Briefly explained these toxins come from our everyday environment; household cleaning products, pesticides, chemical flea treatments, medication, vaccinations, anaesthetic, commercial pet food additives or poor quality water.
The liver is susceptible to damage because of its central role in detoxification of the body and over time an excess of toxins can build up. To maintain the health of your dogs liver, it is advisable to give it a thorough cleanse every 6 months, or as necessary, which can be after anaesthetic, vaccinations, ongoing medication or if your dog is elderly.
Proflax Liver Love is a premium 100% natural holistic superfood supplement that contains 75% cold pressed flaxseed oil and a 25% blend of 7 concentrated active herbal tinctures; Dandelion, Milk Thistle, Yarrow, Artichoke, Schizandra, Yellow Dock and Liquorice. These herbs have been formulated to support the liver and aid optimal liver function. The inclusion of flaxseed oil additionally helps to maintain overall good health of the heart, digestive & reproductive system, supports mobility & circulation, aids metabolism and gives a shiny coat. Liver Love suitability
Ideal for all breed of dogs who require a thorough liver cleanse. Can be used in rotation with Proflax Tummy Tastic to support the health of the liver gut and skin.
Not recommended for pregnant/nursing dogs and puppies under the age of 8 weeks old. Not to be used if your dog is known to be allergic/reactive to any of the ingredients listed or if your dog is taking blood thinning medication (anticoagulants)/blood modulators or has gallstones. Stop feeding 5 days prior to anaesthetic. We suggest that you check with your own vet first if your dog is taking any medications as herbs can sometimes affect their absorption.

Milk Thistle: An adaptogenic cleansing herb with powerful anti-oxidant properties. Supports cell regeneration and optimal function of the liver. Aids metabolism. Supports a healthy nervous system and brain. Provides calcium, magnesium, potassium, folate and vitamin A.
Dandelion: Supports optimal detoxification of the liver and kidneys. A powerhouse herb with the richest source of β-carotene, from which vitamin A is created. It is especially rich in fibre, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, B & C vitamins (especially thiamine and riboflavin).
Yarrow: Supports optimal digestion, appetite, and circulation. Aids effective liver function. Rich in vitamins A, C, E, F and K. It also contains manganese, copper, potassium, iodine and iron.
Yellow Dock: Cleansing and detoxifying. Aids digestion. Contains vitamin C, many different carotenoids including beta-carotene, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, sulphur, copper, iodine, manganese, and zinc.
Artichoke: high in antioxidants quercetin, rutin, anthocyanins, cynarin, luteolin, and silymarin so aids bile flow. Aids digestion and gallbladder function. High in folate, vitamins C & K, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and iron.
Schizandra: An adaptogenic herb that promotes relaxation and calmness. Supports the adrenals and immune, circulatory and digestive systems. Packed with antioxidants.
Liquorice: An adaptogenic herb that supports the immune system, aids respiration and aids digestion. Makes the whole formula taste great!
Feeding Guidelines;
Shake well and feed 1ml to every 2kg of dogs weight with regular food once daily. (10kg dog would be 5ml).
For a periodic liver cleanse every 6 months, feed Liver Love daily at the recommended daily feeding amount for 14 days.
If you would like to feed Liver Love with another of our oil based products, we suggest alternating daily. However, this will depend on the level of support that your dog needs. This product can be used on the same day as Tummy Tastic powder pre/probiotic and Keep off Me! tincture, but must be fed at different times of the day, in different meals.
Store in the fridge once opened and in a cool, dark place prior to opening. Every bottle lasts 8-12 weeks when stored in the fridge after opening so please ensure that you purchase the correct sized bottle for your dogs weight. Batch and expiry date are shown on every bottle and shelf life is a total of 18 months.
Proflax products can safely be used long term, however, we would suggest that if you are feeding only one product only on a daily basis that you feed for no longer than 90 days and then take 7 day break. This short break allows the body to have a rest period from the same supplement, allowing your dog to get the very best from the supplement. However, if you are feeding more than one Proflax product in rotation, a break period is not considered as necessary.
